This change is due to a change of commercial strategy.
Api.video’s new strategy further allows for a complete compliance to the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What does this mean for new customers?
Effective as of February 1, 2026, legal entities incorporated in the US will no longer be able to subscribe to api.video’s services.
2. What does this mean for existing US customers?
· Existing contracts with legal entities incorporated in the US will terminate by the end of August 2026.
· This transition period is intended to give impacted customers sufficient time to plan a migration as needed.
